- Your referral code and the referral code you used, if any.
- Your approximate join-location country, detected from request headers at the time you visit or join.
- Basic attribution data such as referrer host, landing page, UTM parameters, source hints, share type, and QR identifiers when present.
- Email verification status, timestamps, and referral counts needed to run the waitlist.

- To run and secure the waitlist.
- To send verification emails and manage your referral link.
- To understand interest by country and traffic source.
- To reduce spam, duplicate signups, and referral abuse.
- To send launch or early-access updates if you choose to opt in.

We use service providers to help run the website and waitlist, including Vercel for hosting and functions, Firebase or Google Cloud for database services, Resend for transactional email delivery, and service providers used to operate website analytics or interactive website features.

Trybe is based in Australia and our providers may process data in Australia, the United States, Singapore, the European Economic Area, or other countries where they operate. Where required, we rely on the provider safeguards available for those transfers.
Retention
- Unverified waitlist records are generally deleted after 30 days of inactivity.
- Verified waitlist records are kept while the waitlist is active and reviewed for deletion when they are no longer needed, unless you ask us to delete them earlier.
- Admin exports or operational logs may be retained for a limited period where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Your Rights
- Ask for access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
- Ask us to delete your data.
- Withdraw consent for optional launch or marketing emails at any time.
- Complain to your local data protection regulator if you think we handled your data unlawfully.
How We Handle Privacy Complaints
If you have a privacy concern or complaint, please use our Contact Us form or email support@trybe.travel with enough detail for us to identify your record and understand the issue.
We will review your complaint, may ask for additional information where reasonably necessary, and aim to acknowledge it within 7 business days and respond within 30 days where reasonably practicable. If we cannot resolve your concern, you may complain to your local privacy regulator.
